Rick SteinMarlborough, Wiltshire
This project proposal was for the alterations and refurbishment of Lloren House, a Grade ll listed building, with frontage on the High Street in Marlborough. The intention was to create a 100-seat restaurant to be in-keeping with the style of the existing 12 establishments in the Rick Stein Group.
Jill Stein has created the stylish and relaxed interiors of the group’s restaurants in Porthleven, Fistral, Winchester and Sandbanks and has taken inspiration from her travels around the world. She is always in search of new ideas to keep the restaurants and accommodation looking fresh and inviting.
Taking into account the style, surrounding buildings which were both business and private residences, works included the strip-out of internal areas and non-structural minor demolition work. Works also included alterations and new finishes to walls and ceilings, specialist joinery and furniture, sanitary ware, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, drainage connections and all builders work in conjuction with the project.
